The group was established in April 2005. The initiators of the creation of the group were the leading researchers of the Institute of Philosophy A.N.Pavlenko and L.A.Markova. The goal set by the initiators was to create a team of like-minded specialists capable of an ontological vision of the problems of logic and philosophy of science, on the one hand, and ready to carry out theoretical research in this area, on the other. The main directions of research: The emergence of the group is required by fundamental changes that have occurred in science over the past half century, which objectively stimulate the question of the nature of their origin and existence. That is why, at present, the group has focused its efforts on the study of the problems of the existence of objects of science and the existence of forms of scientific knowledge.
