LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH SOCIETY (PNPRS), AN INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER OF THE PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (PAP)
The members and officers of the Philippine National Philosophical Research Society, an institutional member of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines, strongly support the stand of the management and staff of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is high time that governmental authorities of Russia should not only show respect for a 1929 historical landmark and preserve such a landmark for posterity, but should also show respect to the wishes of the occupants of the building, in particular those of the management and staff of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, to remain in the building, at least until 2019, and continue the rich tradition of academic philosophical and intellectual activities for the enrichment of the cultural heritage of Russia and the world.
