The Scientific Board of the Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici has the honour to address to the President of the Russian Federation the request to protect the historical headquarters of the glorious Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences at 14, Volkhonka Street in central Moscow.

The Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences is one of its outstanding institutions which maintains the atmosphere of a great European tradition whose roots reach far back into the past. To expel it from its historical headquarters would mean to delete an important part of the Russian cultural heritage.
