Center of Science and Education

The purpose of the Centre of Science and Education (CSE) of the Institute of Philosophy of Russian Academy of Sciences are:

•  the coordination, support and realization of scientific-educational projects on the profile of the Institute of philosophy, RAS;
•  the creation of scientific and educational base for training of highly qualified personnel, advanced training and professional retraining programs of additional education, scientific training;
•  cooperation with Russian and foreign educational institutions, international organizations and companies.

The doors of the Institute of Philosophy are open to foreign applicants and interns.

Institute of Philosophy can offer you several programs:

I. Scientific intership.

You are welcome to the Institute for research and consultations with the leading experts in philosophy and political science.

The cost of intership is 15 000 RUR per month.

Step 1. Contact the Center of Science and Education and arrange the details of your visit.

Step 2. Come to Moscow with all ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS required for the admission.

•  Application (free form or as directed by the CSE);
•  Document of the previous degree (MA or Specialist degree) with a notarized translation into Russian;
•  Medical certificate given by medical facilities, confirming that you do not have contraindications for studies in the Russian Federation and at the Department you are applying to;
•  Passport with visa and migration card;
•  Four 3x4 cm photographs.

II. Post-graduate studies.

PG programs take 3-4 academic years to complete (depends on the program). In advance and BEFORE your visit to Moscow, please, contact the Center of Science and Education for all necessary information: educational programs, dates and requirements for the exams, papers for admission and visa, and other details of your visit.

All programs at the Institute of Philosophy are taught in Russian.

23.00.02 – Political Institutions, Ethnopolitical Conflictology, National and Political Processes and Technologies

23.00.04 – Political Problems of International Relations and Global Development

The institute has five thesis evaluation committees for the candidate (PhD) and doctoral (DSc) degrees.

Cost of accommodation in the dormitory of Russian Academy of Science — averagely 20 000 RUR per month.
