The aim of this course is to give a systematic representation of the main ethical themes and problems. The curriculum is systematic but it does't cover everything. Its structure reflects the structure of knowledge how it has been formed in philosophical ethics or moral philosophy. The consideration of the ethical-philosophical problems includes the history of ethics, normative and applied questions so that these problems are illustrated, detalised and localised. Bibliography on the themes of the course is mostly eclectic as it shows the variety of possible approaches to the understanding of each question.
Suggested seminar discussions presuppose the knowledge of the corresponding philosophical texts and philosophical belleslettres and analitical understanding of them. The extracts of such texts are also given so that the students could work on their own.
